Challenge – APR Creative were engaged to revolutionise the Jensens Organic range of products. The brief was to update the current packaging to reflect a premium organic offering that is ranged in the mainstream category alongside non-organic brands. The packaging therefore needed to have maximum impact within a very competitive set yet still retain strong organic cues. The brief also required us to enhance appetite appeal and product differentiation on pack. The full range uses 4 different jar sizes so the design solution also needed to be flexible across multiple label sizes.

Solution – APR Creative utilised a combination of design treatments to achieve a mainstream, premium organic positioning. Bold vector graphic elements and vibrant colour coding provide shelf impact and clear sku differentiation whilst a warm natural textured background combined with a 'stamp' device to hold the certified organic text dial up the organic properties of the range. We strengthened the brand presence by increasing the scale and treatment of the logo on pack as well as increased appetite appeal with larger more vibrant on pack imagery.
Results - The new packaging design successfully appeals to a mainstream consumer who is seeking a premium organic offering that is credible and tastes great!
